Find an act in Artist Search, open its window, and read it tab by tab: its record, its reach, its shows, its music, who books it, and what your AI Assistant makes of it. About five minutes.
One act, from the search box to the last tab of its window.
What you will learn
Every act in Cultivate has one window, the same on every screen that names it: a header with its genre, home and how far it travels, a strip of its numbers, and a rail of tabs. This tutorial opens one act from Artist Search and walks the tabs in order, so you know where each answer lives.
BEFORE YOU STARTYou need to be signed in. The AI tab is the only part that uses AI credits, and only when you run a report from it.
1. Find the act
Open Discover > Artists. The list shows the acts in the states you filter, busiest first.
Type the act's name in the search box at the top. The list narrows as you type; the HIT count says how many match.
Click the act's row. Its window opens over the list.
TIPLook in, in the filter panel, decides how your state filter is read: acts based there, acts that play there, either, or anywhere. Pick anywhere when the act is from out of state.
2. Read the tabs
Overview: the bio, the audience line (Reach and the platforms on record), the one-sheet pitch when one has been saved, and at a glance on the right: genre, type, home, state tie, most-played venue, typical ticket.
Reach: the score and the career stage, every platform's latest figure with its change, where the fans are against the act's shows there, and this week's Beatport placements for an electronic act.
Shows: every show on record, upcoming first, with the venue, city, capacity and the role the act played; the count on the tab is the record.
Listen: the act's music, playable where the catalog has it, with links out to Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube.
Contact & Booking: the booking, management and press contacts on file, the agency that represents the act, and PITCH TO A VENUE to start a deal.
AI: the reports your AI Assistant can write about this act (Booking Profile, Fit for one of your venues, Market Entry for a city), each with its credit cost, and the saved ones already written.
TIPADD TO PROJECT at the top puts the act on a project; ASK ABOUT THIS ACT opens the Ask drawer with the act in hand, so a question about it reads its record without you naming it.
In the console: Discover > Artists. Press ? on that screen for the short version, or open the screen if you are signed in. The screen's own page: Artist Search.
